I have problems
My constant need for a home improvement project has officially gotten out of hand.

My inspiration (source: Restoration Hardware)

I swear I decided to do this almost on a whim. I mean, I ran it by Rob, but just barely. In fact, he kind of imploded about it last night when he came home, but fortunately for our marriage, it looks like its going to turn out OK.
Of course, this essentially necessitates painting the walls. Probably like the picture, though I’ve picked out a bit more of a greenish shade. And, while I’ve had a can of white semi-gloss open, I’ve been touching up the trim around the house. Because, I mean, why not.
Oh yeah, and this nightstand, too.

And then tomorrow, my neighbor and I are going to the mothership Home Depot to pick out some flower bulbs and shrubs to plant in the front yard. I got a quote from a landscaper, but of course we know that we can do it better ourselves, and for free. (She works from home, too.)
I definitely do not have time for this.
I definitely missed my calling as a manual laborer.
Even Molly thinks I’m nuts.

You’re officially out of control! But I love it! Your mad painting skills will come in handy when I finally decide to paint my living room. I figure with your capabilities, that room will be done in about 30 minutes!
Also, I like the blackjack font the best
Seriously, when do I get to come over and paint? I sent you that color suggestion and everything. Let’s do this, woman!!
Rob likes Blackjack the best too! Ha ha I didn’t even get a chance to post about it.
What the hell is wrong with you?
(I vote Blackjack, too.)
I LOVE this! I think this is gonna be your “thing.” I see an HGTV show in the works! Go you. xoxoxo
Maybe after this project you redirect your career to tear up other people’s homes and with their money. OR we talk to hubby about an intervention… it’s OK we all need a intervention now and then
Ok, post homecoming I’ll seriously consider the painting (and colors, I’m sure picking a color will take me a few months
Clearly Rob has good taste!
I love how Rob implodes where any other might explode.
I love that you know him well enough to know that word choice was perfecto.
